Our service
What we do, and what we need from you.
Four components we sell together. We carry out three of them using access to your Google listing, and we tell you so before the quote rather than after.
Your establishment will appear here only with your written consent. This frame is waiting for a signature, not for a purchased photograph.
We don't do one without the others.
A half-corrected listing achieves nothing, and neither does a tour published on a listing nobody maintains. All four are sold and invoiced together.
Visibility audit
We record the state of your Google listing and the baseline figures you start from. You receive that record within five working days of access being granted, and it is what will make it readable, three months later, what actually moved.
Initial record deliveredBringing the listing into compliance
We bring the listing up to Google's requirements and give it structure. We go over the category, the opening hours, the practical information. The photos you already have are kept rather than replaced.
Capture and publication
We film on site and publish to Google Maps, within a framework covering permissions and personal data.
Written record of the check keptThree-month review
We take your figures again and set them against the baseline for your sector, along with a log of what changed in between. It is a status report, not proof of effect.
What we need from you
We need manager access to your Google listing within thirty days of the deposit, in order to carry out three of the four components.
This access is a permission you grant from your own business listing. It covers that listing, not your Google account, and you can withdraw it whenever you want.
To find out whether you have it, look your business up on Google. If you are invited to claim it, nobody manages it yet. That is the most frequent case, and it blocks nothing. A place with no listing at all is eligible too.
Without it, we can neither record your figures, nor correct the listing, nor publish the tour to it. All that remains is the filming, which is worth little on its own.
For the shoot, we need just one thing from you, the areas not to film. The rest, notice included, is done by us, as the personal data and filming with the public present page explains.
We write this here rather than in the quote because a constraint is better discovered before signing than after a deposit has been paid. The quote will set it out in full.
What people ask us before signing.
Will it bring me more customers?
Nobody can promise you that, and we do not. Google publishes no indicator of its own for photos or 360°, so no figure can attribute a change in your footfall to the virtual tour. An assignment changes your category, your details and your photos at the same time, in a season that moves too. What we hand you at three months places your indicators against your sector and notes what changed on your listing in between. You judge on the evidence.
Do I have to close during the shoot?
No. We film your venue under normal operating conditions, customers and staff included. A notice we put up at the entrance informs the public, and we blur the images before publishing them. On your side, you simply point out at scoping the areas to leave out of shot.
How long does the shoot take, and how far does it go?
Shooting on site usually takes under an hour in a shop, but the duration depends on your venue and we scope it together. We cover the perimeter you want to show, from the entrance area alone to the whole venue. One venue, one assignment. A second address is a second assignment.
What does it cost?
You will not find a package price on display. Your quote follows the study of your venue.
Are you approved by Google?
No. 97View claims no Google badge and is nobody's partner: tours are published with Street View Studio, the tool open to everyone.
A library or a museum is looked up on Google just like a restaurant.
We also work for facilities run by a local authority, whether a library, a tourist office, a museum, a sports facility or a town hall annex.
The complete online setup
The four components described above apply to a public venue. We film during opening hours, without the facility closing.
The Google listing alone
If the facility only needs its listing, we structure it, photos and embedded tour included. We then follow its reviews and its statistics.
First, find out whose listing it is
Before giving you a timeframe, we check who holds the facility's Google listing and who has authority to claim it. A listing may have been created by a staff member who has since left, or added by a Google Maps user. Until the chain of rights is clear, we give no date.
Let's talk about your business.
You now know what we do and what it takes. The rest gets decided by looking at your premises.
